How does Call Recording work?
In order for calls to be recorded, they have to be routed through the Diamond Voice Call Recording system.
How do I make my phone send calls to the Diamond Voice Call Recording system?
When you subscribe, you will be assigned a telephone number (CPCR) that will replace your existing cell phone voicemail. You will need to change the Conditional Call Forwarding settings on your phone to the new number we give you. This may be accomplished on the phone device, cell carrier website, or may require a call to the carrier.
How do I set the Conditional Call Forwarding on my phone?
You will need to know your CPCR telephone number. This is the phone number that you are assigned by Diamond Voice. Then find your carrier on the list below for instructions. (click provider name)

What caller ID will I see when the call comes back to me?
When the call comes back to you, it will show the Diamond Voice system telephone number 972-293-5300—that's how you will know it is coming from the CPCR system and not just another call coming in.
Will I be notified if someone leaves me a message?
Yes, a notification will be sent to your phone via text message. The audio recording will be forwarded to your email. You can receive the audio on your phone as well.
Why doesn't the "new voicemail" indicator on my phone display that I have a new voicemail message even though I do?
Diamond Voice CR Voicemail uses your phone's SMS indicator instead of its new voicemail indicator.
How does the voicemail service provided by Diamond Voice compare with the service from my cell carrier?
Diamond Voice provides a full-featured
Voice Mailbox with all the features you would expect from a corporate voicemail system. It includes message delivery via email/text message.
What about legal issues relating to call recording?
You should consult legal counsel as to how you intend to use the call recordings that you make. You may visit the resource section of our website for a link to more information about call recording and the law.
Do airtime charges apply for calls forwarded to Diamond Voice CR Voicemail?
Some cell providers count forwarded calls as airtime, others charge a flat rate, and some do not charge a fee. Please check with your cell provider.
How do I start the call recording on a call I receive?
When you see the phone ringing and decide it is a caller you want to record, press the “Ignore” or “End Call” button on your phone. This will send your call to the Diamond Voice Call Recording number you have programmed into your phone. The Diamond Voice CR system will immediately transfer the call back to you.
If my iPhone is locked and I want to record an incoming call, how do I reject the call?
The transfer back through the Diamond Voice system will happen within a few seconds.
How long does it take to transfer back to me when I send a call to record?
Press the Power button twice. This is the button on the top of the phone. Please note that if you press the Power button only once, it will only silence the ringing. You must press it twice to reject/decline the call.
What happens if I don't answer my phone or it's busy?
The call will forward to the Diamond Voicemail where the caller will leave a message.
How do I listen to my Voicemail messages over the phone?
Dial the DVCR number you were assigned. It will recognize your phone and auto login you in. Please note, your caller id must not be blocked to utilize auto login
Can I personalize my cell phone greeting?
Yes, just do the following: • Dial your new voicemail number. • When it answers, you will hear “Press 1 to make a call, or 2 to listen to messages.” Press 2 • Press 3 for Other Options • Press 2 for Greeting Options • Press 1 to record your greeting. Press # to stop recording. • Press 3 to accept and post your new greeting
Are all calls to my cell phone recorded?
This service is flexible. You don't have to record all calls. The only calls that will be recorded are the one you reject sending them through the DVCR system. If you don't wish to record a specific call, just go ahead and answer it!
How do I stop my phone from forwarding to Diamond Voice CRVoicemail?
Find your cell provider here and follow the instructions: (click provider name)
AT&T Wireless, Boost Mobile, Sprint/Nextel, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile
Enter *710 as a phone number that you are dialing and press "CALL/SEND".
Enter #002# as a phone number that you are dialing and press "CALL/SEND".
Most newer phones from these cell providers are set up through the phone menu.
Select Settings on your handset
Select Call Settings
Select Forwarding
Now DESELECT all forwarding options.
* If your phone does not have these options, try dialing the codes listed above for your carrier from the dial pad.
